Prscilla Queen of the Desert August 16, 2010 annepgillbard Have just been to see the West End Musical with Ben Richards as the lead. The show and his performance were both absolutely fantastic .The film is good with a great performance from Terence Stamp - a cult Australian movie of its day - I have to say though I liked the live musical better

Great Film April 13, 2010 Nicola Hastings (Bournemouth) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Watched this film on the back of seeing the show in London - wish I'd done it the other way round as the show is much more fun & outrageous. The film however was enjoyable in a different way, more moving & considered the character makeup more. Fun, LOL movie - great for a Sunday afternoon snuggle!
Really fun but poignant too April 9, 2010 Mr. Marius M. Jennings (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What a great classic! Brilliant cast as they set out on an adventure through Australia. Costumes, music and humour at its best.
A Royal treat February 10, 2010 A. Rawle (Worcester UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I saw this film in the cinema when it first came out, and recently saw the new Australian stage production. It is a glittering uplifting treat, and like revisiting an old friend who you always love. A treat.
If you can't get to see the new stage production, get the CD get this wonderful movie. Why both? because you'll be playing the soundtrack for weeks.
