3 out of 5 stars bog-standard screenplay   November 21, 2009

The screenplay is not very dramatic. Quite all characters act in the way you can foresee. Just Brian is finaly growing older, but I am not sure, that it is the best for the plot, because his behavior is cliche a little bit. Anyway some parts of the story are really unbelievable (like that Hollywood want to make movie frome Michael's and Justin's Rage). The screenplays writers also use more and more the cliche from averige tv series (cancer, infidelity etc.) But anayway for queers it is still good tv-series for relaxing...

4 out of 5 stars Not as good as Series 1-3   August 5, 2009

It was too short and the character development seems to have been stunted. I was not happy with how they are developing the relationships of some characters.

This said, Its still good and still a must see for development of the plot.

3 out of 5 stars So-So Season 4   July 20, 2009

This is ok, but I think it was becoming more soap-opera & less gritty drama. It may be a sign of the times as QAF did set the benchmark, but the shock value it once had no longer has an impact. That said it's not a bad season, there are still some gem storylines but you kind of get the idea that the writers are running out of new ideas, hence less episodes and the decision no doubt to end it a season earlier than planned. I think that in this season (with the exception of Hunter maybe)there seems to be a lack of character development among the main cast.Don't let me put you off, if your a fan of the series then you'll still enjoy (I'll still be getting the final season to complete the set)but you may find like me that it's a plodder rather than a page turner.

Vert annoyed to find I had already bought this. Conned into it by the repackage. Still I had to watch one episode again, as good as before.

2 out of 5 stars Maybe...   July 4, 2009

Maybe, sometimes is good to stop something when ideas are not the first's production priority....there are only 14 episodes, which the time seems to be fast...and a little bit confusing, despite the quality of actors present on it....
