not all that February 24, 2010 haloz this movie looked really good, most reviews were good and description made it sound great but in all honesty was a bit of a let down. all up for supporting genuine lesbian love story dvd's but the acting was poor and almost seemed like it was dubbed even though it wasnt, shame.
Brilliant :) February 22, 2010 H. Gee (England)
This film was really good! Better than I had anticipated!
Even my straight sister felt that they were the most normal couple in it, she felt like it was wrong when the woman's fiancée came in!
really well done. Highly recommended.
Amazing February 16, 2010 Win San Pang (London) The film is just stunning and so beautiful. Full of clever, witty humour and never a dull moment. A definite recommend =]
possibly the most boring film I have ever watched January 30, 2010 film buff 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Its such a shame when you get round to buying some well reviewed DVDs to end up with something quite so poor. Both my partner and I fell asleep watching it. The acting was wooden and just painful to watch. The scenes were contrived and really I had no empathy with any of the characters. I have rarely been witness to such self congratulatory guff as this. As for the politics.....what politics this was about class and boy did that shine through in the whole production. on a technical level the lips never quite matched the sound which always irritates me and not great music either basically ..... Give me the L word any day!
hilarious trying to think straight December 31, 2009 S. Beauchamp (London) A hilarious yet thought provoking look at lives becoming entwined, without the often predictable dowdy pain of lesbian lifestyle depiction.
