 Had less capacity than advertised September 4, 2010

Arrived promptly, but after inserting into my HTC phone, noticed that only 7.5GB of memory was available. After some research, found out that cards can sometimes have less capcity due to manufacturing tolerences. Saying that, it was cheap enough and worked first time, so am warding 4 stars because of the 6% reduction in memory.

I bought this to increase the storage on my Samsung Monte S5620 mobile phone and was originally looking to buy a 4GB card until I saw the price for the 8GB was a much better deal.
Slotted into my phone and was recognised immediately, didn't even need to be formatted and I've now got all the storage for photos, videos and music I could possibly need. Data transfer was smooth enough and no problems with it.
I don't understand some of the recent reviews stating there were delays with the delivery, I bought this from Amazon and it arrived in 3 days using free super-saver delivery.

If you want this product fairly soon, do yourself a favour and buy it else where. I have been waiting 16 days and still no delivery. Despatch is forecast 21 days after purchase. There was no mention of dalays untill after the purchase. I wish I had paid the £2 extra and bought one from the shop

The price for SanDisk microSDHC 8GB Card is quite competitive, but the delivery expences for EU from Luxembourg are prety high. Delivery regular in 3-4 days.
